What is a Peace-walk?
It is a simple daily walking meditation that restores calm, clarity, and connection—within you and around you.
It’s not a protest.
It’s not political.
It’s not about convincing anyone.
It’s not a certain religion.
It’s about embodying peace.
And helping others find their peace and joy – while walking together in Nature.
We walk ourselves home, and each other.
The Authentic Self is Loving and Peaceful.
But we need to give ourselves space to feel this
So we can exercise peace in all our words and actions.

Why Peace-walk?
We’re not lacking information—we’re overwhelmed by it.
We sit behind locked doors, glued to screens, endlessly scrolling
wars, outrage, and fear.
The media tells us who to blame.
Politics tells us which side to take.
Slowly, we stop trusting real life.
We forget our neighbors’ names.
We argue more.
We smile less.
We feel separate.
Are we being programmed?
Are we being programmed to compete and fight against instead of ‘flow’ with life?
What if the way to freedom and justice isn’t louder arguments,
but a simple daily practice that brings us back to our bodies,
our neighbors,
and real life?

The Inspiration Behind Peace-Walk
Peace Walk is inspired by the pilgrimages of Jesus, Buddhist monks, and Peace Pilgrim, who walked well over 25,000 miles across America many times without a penny in her pocket, sharing the message that world peace starts with inner peace.
Enlightened teachers and monks gave their lives for us to follow their example.
But they alone can’t save us. We, the people, must learn to walk our peace talk.
We are taught to love our neighbors as ourselves, but who even knows their neighbors’ names?
This video of Peace Pilgrim inspires us to live our lives at a higher octave of peace and service to each other.
Most Americans Are Disconnected and Lonely
The U.S. is experiencing a severe “loneliness epidemic” with the highest rate of social isolation among developed nations. According to the American Psychological Association, 69% of the population is lonely. Anxiety, depression, and mental health challenges have reached record highs, and the average lifespan has shortened.
Did you know people who get out and walk every day live seven to fifteen years longer than those who don’t?
The best things in life are simple and free.
.. Peace-walk is a simple and enjoyable way of re-embodying our humanity.
Do you believe our prophesied golden age of peace will come about through the actions of our leaders? Think again. It can only come from we, the people awakening to our caring connection. When enough of us become the example, our leaders will have to follow suit, and we will enjoy true peace and abundance for all beings.
Please join me in living this new Vision. Imagine more and more people who are sick of being programmed by electronic media seducing us to take sides and judge those who think differently.
Instead, we are stepping out of screens and taking walks in real life with God and each other every day.
Imagine thousands of people worldwide walking for peace every day. You can be one of us.
"You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one". John Lennon

You’re welcome to walk with me."
Basic Peace-Walk Method
1. Set Your Intention
Before you begin walking, turn off your electronic devices and pause for a moment.
Take a few slow breaths and bring your awareness into your body. Gently set an intention for your walk.
You might say quietly in your heart:
“May this walk restore peace within me.
May that peace extend to others.
May my steps today contribute to a more peaceful world.”
Another favorite of mine is:
“Today, may I remember, behind my every thought, word, emotion, experience, and exchange with others, I am peaceful, loving awareness holding the intention of the highest good for all. And I am grateful positive outcomes are unfolding without knowing how.”
Give your prayer in your words to the Universe, and then let it go. Let the Great Spirit handle it in its own way.
2. Walk
Begin walking at a natural, relaxed pace.
Allow your breathing to deepen and synchronize with your steps.
Notice the sky, the trees, the air, and the life around you. As your body moves, allow your thoughts to slow down.
3. Connect
As you walk, bring awareness to your heart.
Feel gratitude for the earth beneath your feet and for the gift of life. Silently wish peace for all beings—yourself, family, friends, your community, and even those you disagree with.
4. Carry Peace Forward
Smile and greet those who pass.
When your walk ends, bring that calm awareness back into your day.
Let the peace you experienced influence how you think about, speak, listen, and respond to others.
In this way, the walk becomes more than exercise—you walk and talk the way of peace.
This is the real work, for if something comes in the way of your inner peace, no one can heal that perception but you.
5. Invite a Friend
Peace grows stronger when it is shared. Invite a friend, family member, or neighbor to join you on a “peaceful walk” this week. Walking together deepens connection and helps spread a culture of peace in our communities. Remember, staying in your inner peace regardless of how they respond is being an authentic example of a Peace-walker.
